Titanic Museum in Southampton

Before sinking in the Ocean and going down in history as the biggest non-combative sea accident in history, the Titanic set sail from Southampton with thousands of passengers. To honour the 100th anniversary of the ship setting sail, a new museum has been opened which features some items from passengers of the ship.
Being based in Southampton, it has very close links to the Titanic since that’s where it set sail from. The museum features an area that is all about the effect the tragedy had on the city.

There is also one of the gold pocket watches on display that was recovered from the body of one of the passengers that lost his life to the Titanic. The clock is stopped at 1:50 which is about an hour before the Titanic sank. You can see a picture of the pocket watch below:
