These pocket watches are a combination of the double hunter and the half hunter watches. It has the features of the double hunter with the front and back hinged lid which fully opens.

However, these pocket watches incorporate the half hunter aspect of the window on the front lid, so you can view the time and protect the watch face.

Full Hunter
This is available in the same metals as the half hunter pocket watch. The designs are similar except that the lid is protective and covers the entire pocket watch face. There is no option to see the face when the lid is closed.  These lid designs provide a personal approach as you can buy a watch for a specific sport.
